Getting to Martha’s Vineyard
The Charlotte Inn is located in the historic whaling village of Edgartown, Massachusetts, on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. Visitors reach the island, four miles off the southeast coast of New England, by plane or boat. It’s best to map out your route in its entirety before you begin your journey.
Allow sufficient time for traffic in summer months, especially on the Southeast Expressway, Route 3, from the Boston area to Cape Cod. If you elect to leave your car on the mainland, rental cars are available at the island ferry terminals and at Martha’s Vineyard Airport.
