A Grand & Glorious Way of Life

Step into another era—where every hallway, garden path, and sunlit sitting room tells a story. The Charlotte Inn offers more than accommodations: it’s a world unto itself, defined by quiet luxury, old-world charm,
and impeccable detail.

The Charlotte Inn consists of four meticulously restored buildings—each with its own personality, yet all designed to immerse you in warmth and refinement.

Inside the Main House

From tufted leather to flickering firelight, each space invites you to linger.

The Front Living Room

Just off the front hall, this gracious sitting room beckons with a golden glow. A magnificent gilded mirror, sparkling chandeliers and wall sconces, shining brass lamps with softly fringed shades, period oil paintings, chintz armchairs, and plenty of cheerful morning light – all contribute to its allure.

The Green Room

Outfitted with antique mahogany panels, an abundance of polished silver and glass, vintage leather club chairs by a crackling fire, and crisp linens on the tables, the Green Room becomes the perfect place for a cozy breakfast, a leisurely look at the day’s news, or a relaxing drink at the end of a long day.

The Back Living Room

This intimate sitting space tucked away between the Green Room and The Terrace dining room tempts you to linger. Its comfortable upholstered chairs, equestrian oil paintings, and working fireplace offer an enticing corner for a quiet conversation or a drink before dinner.

The Library

At the foot of the inn’s grand staircase, the library is a quiet sitting area overlooking South Summer Street. Leather-bound books fill glass-fronted cases, gorgeous photography books are stacked on a marble-topped table under the crystal chandelier, and a working fireplace flanked with two antique tufted-leather chairs offers a relaxing place to read.

An English Garden in the Courtyard

Wander through brick paths and boxwood-lined courtyards. The Charlotte Inn’s gardens are a private, peaceful escape—lush with perennials, overflowing planters, and classic wicker furniture. Every view offers a frame-worthy moment.

“The Charlotte Inn is a quietly elegant bastion of Edwardian splendor… a place coveted by those with a penchant for privacy and peace.”
